Spiritual Guidance Circle – for Ordered Ministers: A Monthly Series: Mar 21, April 18, May 16, June 13 2012

  Jun 13 - Jun 13, 2012 Wed 10:00 AM - Wed 12:30 PM $170.00

This circle is for anyone in ordered ministry who desires to meet on a regular basis to create a sacred space in which the voice of their souls can be heard. It is a place for open, honest reflection upon the way in which role and soul shape our lives.

Our time together will follow the “Circle of Trust” approach founded by Parker Palmer and based on Quaker practices. The process is designed to create a confidential and trustworthy space so that people can access the voice of their soul. It is based on the simple but countercultural belief that we all have an inner teacher, or a spark of the Divine, and that with the proper conditions we can draw insight and direction from this inner source.

In these circles we will evoke wisdom through direct experiences in nature and by way of poetry, scripture, wisdom stories, video clips etc.  As we open to silence and engage in real conversations with our deeper selves we will encounter God’s presence, gain a truer sense of the life work that is ours and of ways to be more fully present and congruent in our lives.

The group is limited to 12 persons. We will meet at Tatamagouche Centre from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm on the following four Wednesdays, March 21st, April 18th, May 16th, June 13th

While the program ends at 12:30pm, participants can extend their visit by making arrangements with Tatamagouche Centre beforehand to stay for lunch at the Centre, if meals are being served on that day (cafes in the village are another option) and to stay for the rest of the day or an overnight.

Program Cost: $170 The cost for this four-session series is $170.00, payable at the time of registration.

*** This program is a series. Registrants should plan to attend the four gatherings.   ***
