Would you like some quiet time away to gather, play, create, heal?
At Tatamagouche Centre we can offer you:
A cozy room to yourself with an attached bath and writing desk.
A whole house or lodge for your family or group of friends.
While you’re here, borrow our snowshoes or take a canoe for a paddle on the river. Walk the Trans Canada Trail along Tatamagouche Bay. Take time to walk our labyrinth. Experience the healing power of the land, river, and forests of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. Have a bonfire by the river. Connect with your creativity. Disconnect and be nourished.
Enjoy the site and the area:
Tatamagouche Centre sits on 15 acres of rolling lawns, flower gardens, and huge oak trees just west of the Village of Tatamagouche, on Nova Scotia’s North Shore. We are surrounded by parks, water and trails: Nelson Park to our North, the Trans Canada Trail along the edge of the Tatamagouche bay to our East and the Waugh and French rivers to our South. The local village and surrounding area offers all the amenities you may need. The Cobequid Hills are a fifteen minute drive away, complete with a variety of new hiking trails. The Village of Tatamagouche is only a 15 minute walk along the Butter trail, featuring a local coffee roaster, a microbrewery, a library, and a Saturday Farmers Market.
