I’m King Kendi, a Tigania queer woman of the A’Meru people living in Epekwitk. My people are known for justice and we have one of the oldest judicial bodies in East Africa. It is in my blood to stand for justice. I believe everyone should get the opportunity to be the best version of themselves without judgement, harm or hate. You can be whatever/whomever you want to be as long as no one/Earth is harmed. I am a believer in accountability and transformative justice and in reparations. I believe in Ngai, creator as the source and the end of who we are. I believe in Black lives matter and have hope for a world where Black lives will actually matter.
