Contemplative Pathways: Sabbath Days – An Onsite Silent Retreat 2020 September 30 – October 2, 2020 Wed 2:00 PM – Fri 1:00 PM

  • Are you longing for a break from the demands of a busy life, or a change of routine that invites slowing down and gentle reflection?
  • Would it sound appealing to spend a few days in a beautiful setting, enjoy being cared for and supported, while letting silence restore your rhythm and perspective?

This retreat offers “Sabbath time”, a change from the daily pace of everyday, with a supportive environment for you to enter the silence, to journal, walk and rest, and simply BE.

Accompanying you on this retreat:

Linda Foy, a facilitator and social justice advocate who tries to see ‘that of God’ in everyone and in all of creation; and Marilyn Burrell, who has a long-standing interest in the contemplative way of life and the spiritual practices that nurture it. Both are members of the leadership team of Contemplative Pathways.

All are welcome. Please register as early as possible to secure your place in this program. Registration must be completed within 10 days of the start date so the kitchen can be prepared to host guests well.

Program Cost

We acknowledge that there are systemic barriers that make it difficult to participate and access programs. We work to support those who are unable to pay the full cost of programs, while providing a living wage for facilitators and covering the costs of learning programs.

We name the true program fee in order to allow those who are able to pay this cost to do so. We don’t want financial barriers to prevent anyone from participating in a learning program so we offer a subsidized program fee, 20% of the program total, deposit only. Indicate your preference in the registration process. Those able to pay more, please consider offering an additional donation. This generosity helps to subsidize others to participate.

Program Fee: $425 ($160 tuition, $265 meals & private lodging). Commuter price: $345 (tuition, meals without overnight lodging).

Registration deadline: September 17, 2020

Tatamagouche Centre is grateful for funding to support seniors, Elders, BIPOC applicants, youth, applicants with mental health barriers to participate in learning programs.
