Sauerkraut 101 with Amanda Howse

Join Amanda Howse coowner and operator of Nova Kraut Natural Ferments for a wonderful sauerkraut workshop.

In this workshop we will discuss the difference between wild and cultured fermentations, the biological process of fermentation, troubleshooting, health benefits, food security benefits, recipes and finally, we will make a batch of sauerkraut for each person to take home.

When: Wednesday October 1st

Time: 4-6pm

With help from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program, Tatamagouche Centre is pleased to offer the Rooting & Connecting Isolated Seniors part 2. Free to all seniors (aged 55+) and youth, these sessions will offer various workshops centred around health.
