Soulful Aging Across the Seasons: A Six Session Circle of Trust® Seasonal Online Retreat Series – NOW CLOSED FOR REGISTRATION

Oct 6 & 7, 2020, Jan 19 & 20 and April 20 & 21, 2021; Tue & Wed 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM ADT

This six-part online series provides a special opportunity for those who want to age mindfully, seek new insights and find fresh, life-giving ways to engage with the world. It will also provide companionship for this journey at a time when it’s more challenging (if not impossible) to be together in person.

Inspired by Parker J. Palmer’s recent book “On the Brink of Everything: Grace, Gravity and Getting Older”, we will use a Circle of Trust® approach, inviting reflection on inner and outer life and using practices developed by the Center for Courage & Renewal.

Anyone of any age or spiritual path wishing to explore the meaning and experience of getting older is welcome.

Over the six seasonal sessions together we explore themes such as:

  • Generativity, legacy and harvesting our lives;
  • The realities and possibilities of our lives as we age;
  • Staying engaged with our own soul and with the world.

Participants will engage in an invitational process involving input and personal reflection as well as small and large group exploration of themes.

Times: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Atlantic Standard Time on October 6 & 7, 2020, January 19 & 20, 2021 and April 20 & 21, 2021 (all dates are Tuesdays & Wednesdays). Once your registration is complete, we will follow up with confirmation and a Zoom invitation.

We acknowledge that there are systemic barriers that make it difficult to participate and access programs. We work to support those who are unable to pay the full cost of programs, while providing a living wage for facilitators and covering the costs of learning programs.

We name the true program fee in order to allow those who are able to pay this cost to do so. We don’t want financial barriers to prevent anyone from participating in a learning program so we offer a subsidized program fee, 20% of the program total, deposit only. Indicate your preference in the registration process. Those able to pay more, please consider offering an additional donation. This generosity helps to subsidize others to participate.

True Program Fee: $250 for six sessions (two half days in Fall; two half days in Winter and two half days in Spring.) This is a co-hort program so applicants must commit to six sessions.

Subsidized Program Fee:

Tatamagouche Centre is grateful for funding to support *seniors, Elders, BIPOC applicants, LGTBQIA2S+, applicants with mental health barriers to participate in learning programs.

Deadline to register is October 1st, 2020. Register early as there is a maximum number of participants for this series.

Participants in this online series will get a $125 discount on our on-site, residential three-day Soulful Aging retreat planned for October 2021.
